Roll-O-Matic (G)

I have a 1950 JD-G with Roll-O-Matic front end. I'm looking to change
it to a straight front, where I live it's hard to come by JD parts.
There is a JD-A with a straight front for sale, is it a possibility
that will fit? Thanks

Does your G have the convertible or single piece pedestal? If convertible type the extension from A or later models should fit. If single piece pedestal then no I think they won't interchange.

Unfortunetly, I believe it is a single piece pedestal, don't get old I'm going to have to go out and look. Thanks

It does have a convertable extension, I believe I can switch them
right over there are only four bolts. Thanks again

I think a G pedestal is taller.
Why remove a rollamatic? Much better ride n driving than a straight front
