Roll Pin Punch Size?

I was trying to drive out the roll pin holding the overrunning coupler on the pto shaft and can't quite find anything the right size in my tool box. Hooked up my plow and realized that's got to come off. I'm afraid the front plow coulter might hit it. I think anything with a taper will just make it tighter. Anybody know what size punch it takes? Thanks!

I keep a long 1/4" bolt in the bag I store the coupler in when not in use.

The bolt is close enough to correct size to drive the pin and the head good size to hit with a hammer. I picked out a length of bolt, that is just long enough to drive the pin out of the PTO shaft, but still partially inside the body of the coupler, when the bolt head is driven to the coupler.

To locate the pin, take out both zerks/plug, put the bolt in one of the hole and slowly turn the coupler, when the bolt finds the pin it will insert slightly deeper. Have the hammer handy.

I keep that stuff all together in the same bag as all are a greasy mess. In the bag are a couple extra grease Zerks that fit the coupler for when one gets lost.

Since I'm all greasy by now, and have the grease gun out, I grease all the Zerks on the tractor too.........
