Looking for a parts breakdown picture and info on rebuilding a Roosa Master DBGFC431-AJ fuel injection pump on a Case 580 tractor

BD04, early 580 D.
Power piston was stuck. Freed it up and removed piston. Broke piston ring trying to free it from o ring. Spent a few hours hunting and finding only JD part #s. 18967
Marco Rodríguez, Maktest USA was kind enough to verify the18967 ring was used on Case as well. Even sent me the spec sheet for DB0431AL3896.
All for a 3$ part. Can't beat that.

Worked on power piston. Under the o ring is a ridge with a grove on each side. The grooves were filled with gunk, probably corrosion. With plugged up gooves the oring would not compress so the ring could not compress. lapping compound and an old set of feeler gauges cleaned that up. Without the special tool I used a small worm gear hose clamp to compress ring, offsetting clamp so ring edge was exposed. Padded assembly in vise and gently compressed ring and got it started. Removed clap and done.

Super nice guy; helped me diagnose my situation. brian

Yes very nice guy. Work with him a lot. Has an repair shop that specializes in IH tractors. Has forgot more then I'll ever know on them. Bought out the local pump shop when the owner retired and has been busy ever since.
