ROP FOR CASE 430 UTILITY TRACTOR

I'm told there are no certified ROP's available for my '63 Case 430. Is that because it's so old or no one ever decided to certify one. Does anyone have a certified ROPS and where was it purchased.

ROPS requirements for industrial equipment started in 1974 followed by Agriculture in 1976. Your 1963 Case 430 predates the standards. Some older equipment was fitted with ROPS, whether a certified kit was/is available is like a number of things. If the demand is there often the aftermarket will try to fill the void. I expect there has not been enough demand for 430 Case for anyone to design, build, and certify ROPS for them.

Iron Bull and Bare Company USA are a couple places that deal in aftermarket ROPS. The CDC or one of the government agencies have a site with a few certified plans people could use to build their own ROPS. They were only for a very few specific tractors.

Case installed ROPS on the 470/570 in 1969, as they did on the 770-1170 units,, it was not offered before that, 1971 when Case introduced the 580B, it also was available with ROPS in a 4-post and cab models, like said it was not required by law on CE until 1974 after that it was std equipment , sorry ROPS was not offered for a 430/530, if you can find one it would bolt right on yours though , they are not easy to find as they never sold real well on 470/570 but we did sell a couple with ROPS and canopy
