Had some time today with the laoder and got the rops stood up on the 4600.. came back from the fastener store with my bag of gold.. er hardened 8" 5/8-11 bolts and turned up the power to the air ratchet... she's got rops now... No fenders yet.. thems gotta wait till I size it up a lil and get some help.

I got a set of flat tops and some clamshells that came on it.. think I'm sticking with the clamshells.

so.. what's the word.. do I post a pic?

SOUNDGUY....loooooking good. I have flat top fenders and like having the lights there. Also have a steel canopy and have two lights mounted on that front and back. Guess I like to really light up the world!!

I DO like your front lights mounted low, but I can't very well do that with loader that stays on all the time.

Man, you gonna make us beg??? lol

Looks good. Post another when the fenders are on!

And, thanks for reconsidering.

Sorry...the modern view left my reply out.

What I said was:Whomever the "guest" was that fired you up is a dumb@$$!!!

just a bit of clarification..

I know that the fenders mount to the top of the rops 'pad'

I also am aware of how the wheel center dish can be turned in or out, and placed on either side of the offset loops.

I have gotten a few PM's telling me about this.. just letting you guys know that. My only issue is actually manhandling them 16.9-30 liquid filled monsters.. :)

I'm down to about 128# right now.. :) not too much weight to throw around.. I'm getting darn good with levers and prybars.. :)

THE guest is not dumb just ask him and he will tell you, why his bosses are dumb as rocks, the guest is perpetually on the hunt for a job and when gets one he doesn't stay long can't get along with his neighbors, fire department, bosses, etc.
these are just some of the problems that go along with being the smartest man on the group

i like having the lamps down low so they don't obstruct the view ahead right in front of the tractor where I'm looking down the hood.

YEP...there was a definite "black spot" in front of my tractor especially so with loader. I can certainly see why you mount yours down low in front.

boy thats a nice lookin tractor. shouldnt the fenders bolt up to the rops. i remember i took the fenders of my 4610 so i could fit it and the spreader in the manure shed of my old barn but i took the rops of to fit it in and it was all 1 unit. fenders and rops came off all in 1 set. maybe there were some bolts holding it together. it was about 11yrs ago so i dont remember. but that is a nice tractor with or without fenders. ive kinda liked the square fenders better personaly.

man, that looks like cra.... just kidding :) Hey, you haven't made fun of my 20/20 paint job yet so I got nothing but high praise for all the pics I seen. The bug zapper on the front is a great idea too ;)

ok..so I'm old and blind.. I had to look twice to see the rops.. It blends in with the corral behind it...

i like the flattops... but thats just me... you can add lights to em and lay stuff on them.. and then have to walk all over the pasture looking for what you laid on them... see... its fun...

Looks like you have "sugar sand"... if so.. wide tires and wider tires are the way to go..

i ended up going back with t he clamshells it came with. they are in slightly better condition than the flat tops.. though both sets are better than average..

naw.. it was a bad pic I took witht het phine.. I shoulda chose a different angle.

i posted more today.

yep.. we got about 1' of sugar sand over black and orange dirt in this area of florida.. easy to dig.. etc.

soundguy

yep the fneders bolt to the rops foot pad.

i got a set of flat tops.. but decided to stay with the clam shells.. figured flatties might make her look too new.. like a 4610 or soemthing.. :)

Dangit!!

Now mine looks even worse. Sheesh. Gotta find one for my 3k now. Thanx. Spend more money.

Looks great! Keep the pics up! Use ignore button frequently when their I.Q. is lower than post count!
