Rops

i am looking at a rops kit on ebay for a ym1702 would this work on my ym2000 the bolt patterns look similiar.

The 1702 & 2000 take different kits. I'm a big fan of making things work but not when it comes to my safety or more importantly - other peoples' safety. I would order the correct kit & avoid the serious problems that can arise should anyone actually need the ROPS to protect them.

In the last 10 years I have only even seen 1 used ROPS here for any yanmar & it was a home built unit so we trashed it.

I bought a Rops, it was tight to install, but I am confident in it and would not want to 2nd guess my safety with a unit that may work.
