(quoted from post at 16:53:11 10/05/20) Is that the big old very heavy walk behind garden tractor?
(quoted from post at 15:38:43 10/06/20) Rick, do you have any pictures of it?
Morning Bob, tried send picture, but site won't let me.(quoted from post at 16:02:52 10/06/20) I may have used one of those on my first job when a kid?
that is correct, but i do know that my grandfather bought this tractor new, but with that being said, the engine may have been changed. i am going more with the tires that are on tractor, 6.00 x 12 withe armstrong tractor lug tire which from what i read was only used after 1949, which i need to replace, but having a hard time removing wheel. thanks rick(quoted from post at 19:08:12 10/08/20) The serial number of the engine is not a real good way to tell the date of the machine it is on. As someone may have put another
engine on it. If your engine serial does indeed start with 100 , it sure doesn't match up with my list of Wisconsin engine numbers/
If it starts with 100 It would have been made between 1941 and 1942. So you see it doesn't make sense as your machine was probably
made in or around 1949. Hope this helps.
