Rotor ID

Bought the pictured tune-up kit at the local Tractor Supply for my 860. Bought it specifically for the rotor. It appears to not be the correct rotor. Packaging lists the 800 series. Is the 800 rotor different from the 860 rotor?

It will not seat on the rotor shaft with the dust cover on.

Buying from TSC is only partially "buying local". You are supporting the local employees, but most of the profit goes back to corporate. They do not have any franchises. All locations are owned by corporate.

So much for buying local - - cheap. Go to NAPA and get Echlin parts, or other parts store and ask for Standard Motor Products parts, preferably the "Blue Streak" level. I think it should be NAPA Echlin # FA67 or Standard # FD-105. Best to take your old one to compare.
