Round Bailer

They are a good baler. But any baler is only as good as the people that used it before. Make sure that the tail gate has not been sprung an been welded on at the hinges.

Very good baler. I have a regular I, not a Super. Bearings on the rollers don't last forever. If at all possible listen to the baler run and check the bearings to see if they are hot.Get a manual. The baler starts bales almost all the time.

I have put about 15,000 bales through mine and have done nothing but replace one set of drive chains and a few tension springs. I have never replaced a bearing yet. A very good, dependable baler.

I have a 605H. Best tool I ever bought is a laser temp gun. I run the baler for 20-30 min and then get off the tractor and check the bearings. Takes 5 min at most. Can tell immediately if a bearing is starting to fail. So far, only had to change out 1 bearing in the 5 years I have owned it. And that is on a 1980's model baler.

Good baler is an understatement...
