Running boards

I have a 2017 Chevy p/u and want running boards for it, so far all I can find are rocker panel mounts, I want a frame mount, Anyone know of any, I want a flat black runing board, not a nerf bar. Thanks for reading.

i have a set of "Western" that is mounted on a 2004 ford f150. they attached to the bolts for the cab to frame mount. have held up great.

I made these and mounted them to the frame thinking it would be better, it isn't. The frame doesn't have much resistance to twist of that nature so they move around a lot. If there was a crossmember in the frame to keep it from sagging it would probly be ok. It is my intention to add a crossmember in.

It might be regional, but I buy mine from a store here called Chux Trux. They have aftermarket things that use the threaded holes already in the pickup. They are also very good about warranty. I bought a black tube set and after two years I found a spot it was flaking. They took them back no questions asked. I'm sure they have a website and would ship. VERY good folks and affordable.
