I've got a running gear that a friend has given me. I'm trying to figure out what model number it is. It's the older deere gear that has the odd hubs. The end of the hub where the grease cap attaches is a good bit bigger than other models. I have several 953's and the hubs are not the same. I attached a picture I found on google. Does anyone know if a rim from a 953 gear will work on this style hub or not? I don't have the gear at my house yet or I would check myself. If they will fit I'll just pull the wheels and tires off of mine and put them on this gear to make it easier to move. I was thinking people usually didn't want these gears with the odd style hub because they took a different size rim. I've never found out if that was true or not though. Thanks Chris
