picked som up today, will apply with my spray gun, 1 gl should cover my 3/4 t truck from 03, a chev with the duramax, yeah only 114,800 miles on it

i used rust check out of montreal from 1996 till 2014... on my buick roadmaster and fleetwood cadiliac, bodies at 500,ooo miles were tops, sold to customizers

Whatever you use plan to put it on at the hottest time of the years so that "creep" is enhanced.

If you already have rust and want a rust neutralizer/encapsulator do what GChief posted and get the stuff from Eastwood. It works well, I've used it. If you just want something to coat it with we use valu-guard cavity wax.

I brushed on Corroseal after I sandblasted my Massey wheels. It leaves a black, ready to paint surface by reforming any rust into (I think) iron phosphate. Bought 2 quarts in a kit off eBay. It's probably available elsewhere. You might be able to thin it and spray, or use an airless gun like used for some paints and stains. Steve

Ospho is another converter. It is very thin and goes a long way. I have not sprayed it so no experience there.

Most rust converters will turn the rust coat to black. You then need to paint or seal coat it or in time, it will turn back to rust.
