Does anyone have a product they would recommend to slow down or solidify rust? Spray can or brush. Thanks, Ellis

My weapon of choice is POR-15. It is photoreactive so needs a top coat of paint if esthetics are a concern.

Fluid Film in a spray can. It puts a coating on that never really dries up , so it has a soft coating and protects metal and it prevents rust

i use rust check. it is better than fluid film.

luid Film is lanolin. It comes highly recommended by a corrosion expert I know. It will protect metal but it is oily, not a solid film. Good for crevices. It will hold dirt.

It is also one of the few very good solvents to clean grease off your hands that won't damage your skin.
