WHERE DO YOU CHECK THE OIL LEVEL IN A FORD 3000 1970. GAS MODEL. WHAT KIND OF OIL GOES IN THE SOS TRANS. AND REAR AXLE. THANK YOU

There is a hole with a pipe plug on the right side of the transmission casing just forward of where your right foot sits when you are sitting on the tractor. That hole is the level check hole and the fill hole for the S-O-S transmission.

You should use UTF (Universal Tractor Fluid) that says on the label that it meets the Ford/New Holland M2C134D specification in both the transmission and rear end/hydraulic sump.

FYI - Using all capitals when typing is considered shouting according to internet etiquette.
