I just finished tearing down my S55 engine.
I found the govenor bushing, thrust washer and the back of the gear in poor condition also need a new front cam bushing. If anyone has some good new or used parts that I need here please drop me a line.

Korves has a lot of parts for the super engines.

Governor parts are often on ebay. The old style governor has a replaceable gear. Korves has a new governor bushing that doesn"t use the thrust washer.
