A man was life flighted to a Tallahassee hospital Monday after falling off a tractor and being run over in a yard north of the Sneads city limits.
The 65-year-old man, whose name was not released, was operating a tractor with a bush hog unit at 7798 Lake Seminole Road, when he hit a stump and fell off around 9:30 a.m., according to Jackson County Fire Rescue reports.
The tractor and the bush hog attached to it both ran over his lower right leg, which was broken in the incident.
He was treated at the scene by Jackson County Fire Rescue, then taken to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital via medical helicopter.
His injuries were not life-threatening, and he was listed as being in stable condition on transport.
