Sand blast cabinet Harbor Freight

Read reviews. Got about 3 hrs. on it. Did the sealing up, which they give you, silicone. What has anybody done for light. Read some stuff on LED lights. Any other mods. Have been on you tube. This will not be used very much. Thanks!

The light that comes with it works fine but, I made a hood that I stand in so that light from outside the cabinet doesn't reflect on the window. Without the hood, I couldn't see anything in the cabinet. The hood is just made of a little framework and a cheap tarp.

Dave,Get you a Long-Line Fluorescent Work Light 14.99 from Harbor Freight also and mount it inside and you will have good light inside of it.

I put a high intensity lamp in the corners closest to you. Pointing away from your eyeballs. That was 15 years ago, so I'm sure there is something better.

Then I made a plywood table with 3" caster wheels on it. That got the blast up about 4", which I needed, being a big guy. Roll the cabinet near the garage door, let the sand from the blower just hose the driveway.

Then I mounted a squirrel cage blower over the exhaust port, hung a 6' length of 4" dryer flexible tubing on the output.

Last thing was a 6 outlet power strip on the left end panel, everything is powered off that, so with one switch I can turn on the lights and turn on the blower.

I had a gun from TIP and used that, didn't like the OEM gun.
