Took another load of scrap to the salvage yard this morning. He had recently acquired 2 complete M's, an H, a F 12 and F20. I commented on them, and he said he got a little Case in as well. So My heart skips a bit thinking it could be a 12-20 cross motor, 430, maybe a VAH. NOPE. it is an SC with junk tire, but good rear rims and a cobbled together home made wide front., and good tin, even the fenders. Do I save this tractor that has one tire in the grave and another tire on a banana peel? He said make an offer. I bet a couple hundred would get it. Kinda hard to leave as I had an empty trailer with me as I headedd out the front gate. What should I do??? Bill

Hard to know what to do………I ended up with a 1941 center exhaust Case SC recently that was complete except for rear wheels and tires. Sheetmetal and fenders are very straight, even has the chrome strips on the hood yet. It would have been a shame if it had gone to the crusher!

Save it, Bill. If only for a parts donor. Please give me a call. Thanks. Don

I might have a lead on rear wheels for your SC if interested.

Saved a 51 sc a few years ago for parts paid less then scrap price at the time great tinwork. Just pulled the head and intake the other day for parts on a 1950 sc I’m working on. Lo and behold the 51 had pop up pistons. One sleeve shot for sure but still pleasantly surprised. Save it if you can.
