Save or scrap

My father-in-law passed away last spring. We are getting around to cleaning out the yard and sheds. I found a weight for a 175 Massey and a piece of tin for it. Is it worth saving or should I throw it in the scrap pile. I tried sending pics. But they won t upload.

Having just gone through the estate clean out nightmare, I'd say, if you can rehome it easily, then do that. Someone for sure wants the weight, and likely on the tin. However, I reached the point where finding new homes for things became a headache, and was keeping me from making meaningful progress. That's when the real broad strokes of scrap, burn, and trash started. I probably should have been even more aggressive as the return on the effort at the estate auction wasn't worth a lot of the effort. Don't loose your mind over things you don't need, and you can't easily be rid of.
