It turns over and he wanted to start it,but it was quiote a ways away and we were in a hurry and to the main thing I wanted was to see it turn over.No 3 pt hitch. no PS. but I bought it from the origional owners Grandson. It did come with the origional hydraulic cylinder

Is it diesel? Looks like a grill screen and seat it outta look pretty good, especially for what you gave for it. Is the bracketry a loader frame?

its definately not a diesel with a dist. and coil spark plugs with no pony motor looks good other than a few minor things i got grill screens from here for mine slipped right in nicely seat cushion from here also

I will have to make a battery box for it. I worked in sheet metal as a tinner for many years and have access to the machines to do it with, The tractor had a loader on it,but they sold the blade and the arms and such for scrap, the cylinders got bad, I will take the brackets off and probably sell them if I get a buyer. It looks to be a low number 53. ser#7002248.

I went to our scrap yard a while ago and seen some old JDs in there, a sad thing to see. They had piled them up and didnt seem interested in hauling them back out

Looks like a good tractor to me; one well worth saving from the scrap yard.

Once you get it running, you"ll wonder how you ever got along without it.

Good, strong 50hp tractor regardless of how it looks.
