Saved by the chainsaw chaps!

Chainsaw chaps are the leg chaps designed to limit chainsaw injuries to your legs. Somtimes I get a little close because I know I have the protection. But not this time. I was squating down clearing scrub oak and brush and somehow the saw came right across my upper thigh and the chaps save a nasty injury. They are hot and somtimes actually running the saw is only part of the work so they get in the way but I'm glad I had them on yesterday. The saw cam across the chaps and actually nicked up the side of my jeans that arn't covered. I'm I beliver in them.

wife got me a pair last xmas, have them in the truck but keep forgetting to put them on

was bucking a big cottonwood on a sidehill, tree rolled and as I caught my balance, felt the saw teeth start removing pantsleg

leg felt wet, looked thru the hole and no red, said a prayer of thanks right there

won't be that lucky every time, gotta start wearing them

I have a pair for the same reason. It is hard to take the time to put them on sometimes but it is something you just need to do. Thanks for the reminder.
