Saw This Today...

I posted this picture on the Ferguson forum already. Its in a Ferguson TO-30 but still neat. I've never seen one in person.

This is at a local upcoming auction.

How rare are they? Can anyone tell me more about them? I did look up about it on oldfordtractors.com

I think it may be home made from a pick-up truck gear shift. Who knows there were a lot of little thing on these tractors that show up from time to time.

It appears to be a Sherman Live PTO. They come up once in awhile but are not common at all.

Good cut-a-way shot of the gearing behind it. I have that rare Live PTO too on my Jubilee but the tall shift arm is missing; i.e., broken off.

Sweet!! A good Tig welder could attach a lever for you. If you do much bush hogging, you'll come to appreciate the live PTO.

I don't have one with the live PTO, but I do have
the same cement mixer that is on the back of it.

i put my up gear box next to shift lever, and i glad i did,so much easy.. you can get them from red rock manufacturer... or if you have welder & drill press do yourself manufacturer.....
