Not sure what you mean by "the front".Milwaukee sawsall, will the front interchange between the battery and corded type?
I do have a couple of battery drill drivers that I couldn't live without but as for the rest of them I'd rather pull a cord.I'm with you, corded tools for me. I have no battery tools! kevin110
Did you check if the same?We use battery powered Milwaukee and Dewalt tools all the time in the Shipyard. 1/2" drill motors, metal cutting circular saws and Sawzalls .We build a lot of foundations designed and fabed onsight, rip out of old gear and many other tasks, all without issue.
Some of you guys sure have entertaining opinions of battery powered tools
Carry on.
To the question, not sure but can look at our battery and corded saws bought at the same time and get back.
I will tomorrow, I have been on a project on the waterfront all week and not at the shop.Did you check if the same?
However many years ago, had the Craftsman 19.2 tools with nicads. And was ready to give them up due to battery performance.I have had battery powered hand tools for years. They were pretty good when they were using the old NiCd batteries, but battery life left something to be desired. The newer ones with the lithium batteries are orders of magnitude better, and the batteries will stay at the same level of charge even after long storage - unlike the NiCds
All the battery powered saws are checked out so I could not directly compare. For what it is worth, the tool room guy, that often fixes tools instead of ordering new ones, says they are not interchangeable.Did you check if the same?
