SC grille screen

Does anyone reproduce the Front grille screen for the SC?

I don't believe the SC's came with a grill screen. My parts book, and my 2 SC's, shows the flat screen in front of the radiator.

There are four screws (two on each side) of the grille that look factory with nuts welded to the back, or inside of the grille. I thought there was maybe a screen there. It is a 53 model.

My 54 has a screen on the outside of the grill, looks factory to me but is the only one I have seen!

I don't know where you can get a new screen, but here is a pic of my 53 SC with the screen you are refering to.

My SC had a screen on it when Grand Dad bought it in 1944. I still have it. It will be put back on when the reso job is finished. clint

I have been told that the screen could fit on the inside of the grill. However, it is too long and only fits on the grill from the outside. I have never seen an SC with a screen mounted on the inside.

I have one on my SC. I really need it on there. Radiator gets plugged up with weed and grass seeds when I mow.
