I had a similar experience from an ad I posted on YT classifieds, too, almost a year ago. I posted an ad to sell a gas tank and got a response that said they'd pay for the tank and send their driver to pick it up, supposedly to save the shipping cost. At today's gas prices, it wouldn't take many gallons of "driver" gas to pay for shipping. I went on high alert at that, and forwarded a couple of innocuous questions about where he was located, and if the tank was going to fit his application, etc. The conversation ended immediately. Not sure how this works for them, but it was probably one of those, "oh, sorry, I overpaid you, can you just send a money order for the balance" and then their payment bounces. Beware, and be cautious, even on here. steve
