Brain Fart Moment, Help Please:
I ordered a replacement carb for my Schlemmer Weber Carb and was dutefully moving the control arms on the throttle and carb over to the correct side of the carb and found that he new carbs choke plate and a little spring and valve on it. This is no big deal but I am at loss as to the correct orientation of the openeing.
Does it open inwords to allow suction to pull a minimum amount of air or, does it open outword to allow backfire pressure release in case of engine backfire. Since the original was just a solid plate, Im not sure its a game changer, but I was just scratching my head and admintting, I'm not sure on this one.
