Schwartz wide front work

I am in the process of rebuilding 2 Schwartz widefronts. One has 6-bolt hubs that I want to put under my 560D and the other has the large 3-bolt hubs that I want to put under a SMTA. The lighter duty one is in very good condition, I just need to replace the main pivot bushings and free up the tie rods. The heavy duty Schwartz was used HARD and needs all new bushings and repairs to the knees. I have been working on them a little bit at a time when I have time. Almost everything is taken apart except one knee is still stuck in the center tube. It took a lot of heat on the tie rods, but I finally got them apart. After cleaning them and chasing threads, I greased them liberally and put them back together with new rubber boots, grease zerks & cotter pins. While heating the stuck ball stud plugs, one siezed up and would not budge any further. I figured the threads were galling, so I cut the plug out with my milling machine and was able to save the threads in the tie rod by running a tap down them, but now I need a plug. They are currently of stock on this site, so I will have to make one, or wait, or find one elsewhere.

Are the tie rods identical on the two different Swartz wide fronts? The reason I'm asking is because I need to replace the tie rods on my 560 with 6 bolt hubs and I want to get the right parts.

IF you take them in to any decent auto parts house they should be able to measure the taper and the thread diameter and then match them up. I know a jeep or something like that will fit our 574 tie rods. Have bought many from matching them up. I even take the short threaded ends and weld to the long notched ones then grind a notch in to fit the pipe on the tie rod so I don't have to spend the big bucks for that long rod. Never had one not work yet and have some of them in there for 20 years now.
