Any body have a picture of a "dirt scoop" I think you call it? That would be appropriate for an 8N? I've heard of something like it, but don't know exactly what I would be lookin for. I ran tractors and hoes for a couple years building grain bins, and spent a year or two on a dairy farm, but can't recall seeing a three point impliment made for digging. Thanks for your time men.

Is this what you are looking for?

I've seen them in 24 and 30 inch width, and although I wouldn't want to dig a pool with one it sure is better than a shovel!

Some can be used as a "pull" scoop or a "push" scoop, others need to be used as "pull only"

Hope this helps

It's commonly called a slip scoop. It is gravity dumped when released by a trip rope.

These scoops are handy. I built my own for about $25, but they"re not terribly expensive to buy, either. I have two front-end loaders for my 8Ns, but I don"t put them on since I built the scoop. I"ve used it to move as much as a 10-yard load of black dirt in an afternoon. Lots of back-and-forth but not much labor involved. Great for crushed rock, too, and as a small carry-all. And it hooks up in a couple of minutes instead of a couple of hours with the danged loaders.

Moved lots of dirt from a big turn around I added to the driveway with the same model Too Tall posted.
Lots of trips to dump but that equals more beloved seat time.
Plus pretty easy to install or move around.

I call them pond scoops.

I have a 24".

I would recommend not to buy anything less than the 30" though.
