You are quite WELCOME, Sir.

Had to explain who ZANE is? Due to the "wings" on the back of my service van.

Well, says I, ZANE invented and produces a sorta "automatic PILOT" for tractors.

Hence the rest of the RETIRED USAF gentlemen at the early breakfast CLUB, here, got to remember the MILITARY Designation of the GLOBE MASTER.

Merry Christmas.
Lots of CHAMPION PLUGS.

(quoted from post at 08:34:09 12/15/15) I've read this three times and I have absolutely no clue what any of it means. Is it some sort of code?
Stick around and you will figure it out, maybe. The problem is that it is clear to me.

Take the third letter from every other word, drop the last 3 and it should read"[b:a1cd68173a]Off My Meds Again[/b:a1cd68173a]"..

Globmaster C124

Almost got hurt in one back in 1957 taking off from Limestone Maine when lost #2 engine. Fully loaded with two 4360 engines, extra engine stand and 70 boys with all their tools etc.

Smelling pine needles while flying at about 200 MPH is scary!

My dad loved that plane, and the 4360. He started with Beech Aircraft Wichita in the late 30's, AMM 1/c in WW2 and ended at Richards Gebaur south of KC. They took his beloved Globemasters and replaced them with shot-up 130's out of Vietnam. He said the plane's were changing and so was the military so he retired in 71'. I have to admit though, the 130 would have done better on 3 engines.

I hate to admit it but me too. John's close enough our flight paths may cross someday - that should be real interesting

TOH

Instead of feathering the engine when you had a 4360 it would have been better to have a blow away charge so you could just drop it!!!! :O)

At least the plane would a lot lighter.

Zane

LOL! Yeah those corncob engines were nothing if not heavy. If you had prop problems sometimes they'd come off all by themselves.

Got my package in the mail today John.

Brings back lots of memories of when I was a flyer. :O)

The John Deere on the hot pad is exactly like my 1937 B on steel that I use to run my cane mill when making Sorghum syrup.

Didn't make any this year though. Can't get help. Too hard work!!!!
