Screen Door Finished

Went to granddaughters condo this morning and installed the screen door i made for her. She is happy! Used 5/4 treated deck boards and cut to size. Larger pieces are 3 inch wide and smaller ones are 2 inch.

Question.... from my childhood, on the farm, there were doors like that. I see you're missing the long return spring that made a very specific sound when stretched, then the required "whap.... whap whap" when you let it close that door.
Where's your spring?
I'm old now, and dearly miss those sounds. Better days, better people....

I suppose those springs are in the hinges now and are silent, and gently close the door.....
