Seal cross reference # needed

I have a ford 860 with five speed and double clutch and the old countershaft seal # NDA77047A seems to be unavailable. Does anybody have a National seal cross reference# ? I did see another # D6NN7R240A and it referred to a #233274 but I'm not sure if this is the one I need.

If it's NLA then it's probably because it's so readily available locally...
Just measure the shaft OD, the seal cassette OD (or better yet, the housing bore), then the lip offset and thickness of the seal. NAPA or any other CR supplier should have them.

I think that"s the seal you need. It goes in the pto support. #233274 replaces the original double lip seal Naa77086A. Phil

I believe all the seals are available from New Holland but you need to know what part # to use to order it because they have changed several times over the years.

Since you list a few differant seals here I am not sure what one you want so I will include a picture.
NDA77047A is the old # for the input shaft seal. # 3 on the picture. The new # is D6NN7A283A and is about $14.50 from New Holland dealer. It crosses to SKF (chicago-rawhide) part # 10515. It is a 1.503 OD x 1.063 ID x 0.25 width seal.

NAA77086A is the old # for the seal on the PTO countershaft; # 62 in the picture. The # was changed to D6NN7R240A and the correct # is now 233274. It cost about $7.75 from the New Holland dealer and crosses to SKF part # 17443. It is a 2.627 OD x 1.75 ID x 0.313 width seal. It can also be used as a main drive output shaft seal in some transmissions; # 28 in the picture.
