seal leaking onto the brake

I have replaced the seal three times with the same result. I must be missing an important step. An suggestions of what may be going on here.
Secondly, need to replace one stabilizer. Any sources for used parts? New one is $800.

Are you sure it is the seal and too much oil in the transmission?

You don"t say what tractor you"re working on, but there"s several possibilities. Sometimes the shaft can be very worn, even rusted, where the seal rides. That will keep it from making a good seal. The other possibility is that it isn"t the seal at all. On some of the tractors, the bull-pinions were capped off at the end with plugs. If they are not perfectly tight, they"ll leak oil. You can seal that up by degreasing it thoroughly and using JB weld.

Normal tranny oil level in my 830CK is about halfway up the seal.

Forgot to say this is a Case 580C. The ole girl is still goin.

If it is the right side did you replace the differential lock seal???????????? is there excessive shaft end play?????????? are you useing something to protect the seal as you install it over the splines, they can be rolled and ruined if not installed properly, don't ask how I know. The diff lock seal is located between the side gear and the smaller splined shaft sticks out on the right side. If all is right they are easy to keep sealed up. mEl
