sears twin ss/16 garden tractor

having trouble finding a coil for this.can any1 help me find a coil for this old garden tractor?not sure the year model but im guessing around 1970.i do have the serial and model #'s but cant seem to find the part online

Roper made those for Sears but Sears can still get a few parts but not many most can be had from aftermarket through a local mower / small engine shop. What engine ? Tecumseh, Briggs & Stratton, Kohler, Onan ???

WHY would you get tune up parts that could be had locally from a small engine shop or NAPA from sears and pay BIG bucks for them plus shipping?

All he has to do is figure out what engine he has and as around locally.

Like Bob said, take the model and serial number off the engine to any local small engine repair shop and they will have it in stock or can get it for you. Sears will sock it to you in shipping costs.

thanks for al the info.turns out the coil was ok it was the points and condensor . running excellent now. that lil tractor is a beast thanks again
