seat base

Looking at new insulation for my 4030 tractor. Insulation kits say it depends on my seat base size (9" or 11"). What are they talking about? Is there a chart somewhere that tells you this depending on your serial number?

I THINK they are referring to the "notch" that the seat sits in in the cab floor. I got into this a long time ago when putting an aftermarket air seat in a 4230. Details are sketchy in my mind

I believe they are talking about the width of the hole that your seat frame fits into the cab. It will be narrower if its just a manual adjustment seat.
wider hole if its for a hydraulic seat adjustment.
the hydraulic ride seats were an option and availabe on 40 series.
Im guessing yours is narrow. hope this helps.
