Does anyone have a good source for QUALITY tractor sediment bowl assemblies? I bought another one from a "Farm Store" and the shutoff leaked (needed tightening) the bowl leaked (when I tightened that, the tightener broke and it does not shut the flow off completely, slowly drips......

 
It's getting REAL tough to find replacement sediment bowl assemblies NOT made in the land of "almost right". Hopefully, you can find a shop that's been around for a while that may have an old-stock US made unit.
 
look in junk yards there should be something that is close that will work after all they used them on other things besides tractors .
 
I bought mine from Tractor Supply and mine also has a slow leak, I am in the process of restoring a 52 ford 8n and I am going to be buying a new bowl from Dennis Carpenter's ford restoration catalog, hopefully his will be of better quality then the 'farm stores'
 
I get all the ones I use at an O'reilly's auto parts store. If they don't work as they should at least they will take them back and let you try another one. So far I haven't got a bad one yet but who knows that may change

When you get your next bowl, soak the cork bowl gasket overnight in a real light oil. This will soften it some, so the bowl doesn't leak,
 
Dennis Carpenter's Is the best place ever all the parts are just great. Thats where I get all my truck parts from.
 
I got another one from the "farm supply" type store today. Almost as bad, adjuster loose, Bowl leaks upon starting but at least the shutoff works on this so I can keep the fuel from dripping until I find a quality one. Thanks for all the suggestions, I looked on EBay too and there was about 40 on there.
