Seized engine miracle free-up

I have use molasses to derust small parts. It works amazingly well!!!! You can get molasses at just about any store that handles hunting equipment in the form of wildlife molasses or deer molasses for less than $15 a gallon. The mix is 9 water/ 1 molasses so you will end up with ten gallons of liquid at $1.50 a gallon and you can use it over and over! Best part is its biodegradable, no nasty chemicals to dispose of! Now Mr Lightening, ease them pistons out slower than lasses in Winter so I can count every speck of rust.
Or should I say Are you gonna pull them pistons or whistle dixie ? 🤠

This ended up being the fastest method I was able to find.
After the block was on the wood blocks it took about 15 minuets. The sleeves and pistons went into pails of used oil for a few days and holding the sleeves in my hand tapping them with a hammer they started to move. If I remember correctly it took two more times on one to get the piston out and a couple more times to get the pistons out without breaking any rings. I salvaged two of the sleeves and all four pistons. I found no engine that is stuck is the same and I had the most success dismantling this way without damage.

Don’t have any examples on engine, freeze off and following up with evaporust soak .
No I would not have those examples. I had not heard ofFreeze off or Evaporust when I was able to lift that hammer. I would guess the new chemicals would give a person an advantage over what I worked with as a hobby 20 some years back. The ATF mixture or other mixtures might have worked back then if I thought I wanted to take weeks to do a 15 minute job. Running production factories weeks was never an option to my customers. I might have a different mind set.
Thanks for giving new to me chemicals to ponder. I will spend some time looking up what others say about them. I wish I was still able to try them myself.
