Semi compressor not kicking out

Parked truck a few weeks ago when I got done with harvest, went to use it today and the pressure got up to 150, so I dumped air and let it build up again, same thing. Went to town got a new air governor for it, same thing. Compressor was replaced four or five years ago. Truck was in the barn, around 20 degrees, but it has been colder this past week. Brakes all release and I drained the tanks a few times during harvest, it does not have a dryer. 83 freightliner coe 855 cummins, single air compressor in front of fuel pump. Was working fine during harvest, what do I check next? Usually kicks out at 125. Gauge maxes out at 150. Thanks for any help.

first of all find this D2 governor , you have a signal line coming from the small wet tank, if this line is plugged it has no signal to tell compressor what to do, since you have said you have no air dryer it is more than likely plugged if governor is not mounted to compressor there will be two lines to governor if you have two small lines trace the one that goes to the compressor the other goes to the wet tank (signal line ) build air and take line loose from d2 governor and see if air comes out if not clean line so you get air to governor and if it still does not want to stop building replace governor can not get governor picture to load

Unloader valves in the compressor could be sticking if you have air to the governor.
If the governor is mounted to the compressor they will be just behind it

here is the pick i hope
