I finally got my TE-A 20 home and now looking for engine serial #. Where should I look? I also want to grease all the fittings I not sure how many and where they all might be hidden. I would also like to get the tool box that originally used to be on the left side of the engine. Does any one know where I might be able to locate one are the measurements to have one made?

The serial number tag (most important one) is on top of the dash at base of throttle lever and steering wheel column. Your numbers will be at the bottom of that tag. Now would be the best time to get a Ferguson reproduction Service Manual and a Owners Manual. Those will give you all the information you would have received if you bought the tractor new. Also it is nice to get a parts book for your tractor. The engine serial number is on the left side of engine "stamped" into a flat spot, (I think by the oil filter).

The flat spot on the engine block is located between the oil fill tube and the coil that is where the stamped engine number is, or should be.

greasers on the king pins/front wheel hubs (some) track rod ends (4) early models. Leveling lever on 3 point/ water Pump (some) Rear Wheel hubs (some) since we don't have a serial number we can't quote exactly what yours will have, there were changes throughout production, but that is the full list....John
