serial number guide

I recently purchased an Oliver 107-b hay rake. I would like to know what year it was manufactured. Can some one tell me how to find a serial number guide for Oliver equipment. Thanks

So is that a side delivery rake, with two wheels behind the basket, with the long drive shaft?

Yes it is. The b indicates that it is a bean model.

Well my dad bought a new one in 58,not sure of the Number of it, and then when i farmed later on,I bought a used one, was just like new. not sure where the serial number is,but now that u say it, i think that's what it was, without the B. My Niece and her husband have it now. Still raking hay.

Rodger the 107B was made from 1958 to 1964 in Shelbyville, IL.

Rodger I just re-read your first question. You asked about a serial number book for Oliver Equipment. Contact Floyd County Museum in Charles City IA and ask about the book of serial numbers for Oliver, Cockshutt, Minneapolis Moline, White and Hart Parr by Lloyd McCray. It has most of the machines manufactured by Oliver/White/MM in it.
