Serial Number lookup, please.

I've checked the serial number section on this site for the answer, but, couldn't find it. Can someone please tell me what tractor 06103485 goes to? My brother is looking at this tractor, but can't tell what it is. Thanks, Dan

You might try Minneapolis Moline Farm Equipment by Peterson and Beemer. I found it at the local library. Has a serial number list in the back of the book.

A book I have indicates that the 061 prefix is for a 283B-4 engine for a UB tractor. He will need to find the tractor S/N plate on the side of the transmission to be sure of the year. A UBU will start 058, a UBE will start 059, and a UBN will start 060. Built from 53-55.
Are you having any luck selling the GVI? Are you coming to the Abilene pull?

Thanks for the response, guys. Bryce, my brother got the engine number and it said 283-B4, so, I'm guessing it is a UB. I won't be going to Abilene. A little too far over there for me. I still have the G6. I've had a couple of tire kickers but that's about it. That's ok with me. The longer I have it the more I get to drive it. I love that thing.

There is a pull in Eastland, this Saturday April 24th. Also a pull in Maxwell, which is close to San Marcos, on Saturday as well. Then next weekend is West,Tx.
