Serial Number question

Thanks andrew, The guy I bought it off said it was a 1949. And I am glad you were able to correct that for me. Does the serial number say anything about having any specialties or just a plain old M? thank you
 
just a straight M, if it had a letter and a number after the serial number then it would have come with a special option or add on etc...
