serial number

i have a case tractor sitting in my pasture and can not find a serial number on it. i have done some research and the plate that the serial numbers were mounted to is missing. any ideas on how to find out what model it is so i can get parts??

Got a picture? Orange or orange and white? Gas or diesel? Anything look like it in the photo section on this site?

Try looking inside or on the toolbox somewhere there might be a serial number there

CASE liked to put serial plates on the dash board or if it didn't have a dash board the toolbox like a C or L. My 1030 is under the dash by your foot, 400 is on the side of the dash by the gauges. If the plate is missing, they stamped the serial number into the rear flange of the engine on some models.
