Service Manual Question

I bought the SE-3660 service manual for my 1979 Ford 5600 and I am curious why the wiring diagram for my tractor displays two fuse boxes? To my knowledge, all cabbed 5600 were only equipped with one fuse box. I am trying to revert some farmer wiring and it’s extremely difficult without an accurate diagram. Is there possibly an older version that would correctly display this? Anyone have any input?

Under the hood on the battery side should be a tag with the serial numbers, model code and production dates
These numbers are also stamped in the transmission case behind the starter but you can may have them covered

The Service Manual usually covered a number of tractors of different series that were al made at the same time. I'm not sure about the x600 series, but the Service manual for the 1965-1975 thousand series covered models in the 2000, 3000, 4000, 500 and 7000 Series of tractors. From a Google search, the manual that you purchased covers the 2600, 3600, 4600, 5600 and 7600 series of tractors. So that electrical schematic might include things that were found in other models, but not in yours. Does one of the fuse boxes in the diagram feed circuits that you are sure are not in your tractor? If so, I would just use the info for the other one.

C is for US made models, my 5600 and 6600’s are open station models without fuse boxes, I don’t have a set of service manuals for them yet, however my 1000 series and 10 series manuals cover much of the major components a 600 series has, so not having them hasn’t been a problem so far
My 10 series manual does have a diagram for a 600 series open station but I haven’t look for a cabbed diagram
My 6610 has the newer Super Q cab and only has one fuse box
I suspect the diagram your looking at is possibly for a European model
