Hate to display my ignorance yet again - BUT need information on how to set up my disk for various purposes. Inherited an old 10 ft. disk from my dad, not drag type. Switching positions on the tiers of blades is accomplished by pulling a pin from the top of the disk and using a heavy hammer or,in my case, a heavy fence post to drive the tier to another position, either angled or straight. I want to cut my garden so that it buries the weeds, but doesn't leave big gouges in the field. THEN I want to change positions and make another pass to level the field for planting. I don't know how to set the blades to make this happen, OR how to level the disk. I do know enough to lengthen the top link so lower the front end. Advice most welcome. Thanks. (Think I'll change my sign in to "Fl. Ignoramus").
