I am rebuilding a Sherman high/low combo trans . If you remove the allen screw in the top cover just behind the shifter there is
supposed to be a 5/16 pin. My pin is missing . Any idea where I can get one . Does anybody know what length the pin is supposed
to be ? Part # may be 7c348 . I'm not sure .

Looking at John Smith's Sherman High/Low rebuild tutorial what you are looking for is called the interlock pin.
(No part number or size is listed in his information.)

In this youtube video (at 27:07) on rebuilding the Sherman, the fellow made his own pin (again no part # or size is given).

Arthur's Tractors says they specialize in rebuilding Sherman transmissions, (& selling parts as well) maybe give them a call. I bet they could help you out.

I will try to email but they are in pdf and if your mailbox isn't set up to receive a huge file, it won't get thru... so if so then we will discuss an alternate plan.
