Gorilla glue will fix that right up! No,but I am curious as to what caused that mess?

Junking out another Oliver 70, this time with an engine that's been stuck for decades. Given that Oliver 70 sleeves and pistons can be hard to find, we were trying to salvage what we believed may have been the only good pistons and sleeves. Cylinder three came right out and is perfectly usable. #1 didn't go so well as the crank wasn't clocked perfectly and the rod didn't want to clear the sleeve. So we gave her the ol' college try and attempted to remove the sleeve and piston together, but clearances and available tools could only get her about 1/4" above the deck (we had a floor jack with a metal bar pushing up against the sleeve, which of course was lifting the tractor- and we did all that while adding heat from the torch and occasionally beating the top of the block with a sledge). Something was holding it stuck solid at that point. It wasn't until later we discovered all the trash in the block half way up cylinders 1 and 2, basically to that halfway black line on cylinder 2 sleeve. Anyway, we decided the return wasn't going to be worth the investment, and we were getting tired. Given the block was nice and warm and cracked, I took the sledge to it and sent shrapnel through the air until I was able to pry it out sideways.
