THANK YOU to those who helped me with my 350D to get it running!
Special thanks to George for all of his patience with me and to him and Hugh for their confidence in me!

Got the center field mowed!!! Totally happy camper!!!

Diana: I'm glad to hear that, and was quite satisfied George would solve that Continental diesel problem for you. I'll say one thing, you got to be damn stubborn, must be getting close to 3 years since you started sorting out that 350, and it's many modifications.

Hugh, she sorted most of out on her own. I just kinda pointed her here and there. You are quite right, seems it had been rigged inside and out. Parts of her throttle and air intake linkages have even been removed and evidently thrown away. I tried to make new ones for her, but every thing on the utility is different than on my row crop and I had nothing to pattern from. I had pics of what she needed, but with no dimensions and not being with the tractor it makes it a tough task. Her eagerness and willingness to dive right in on that thing made it a pleasure to help her what little I could. I hope she keeps it and get it lined out all around. I told her before long she would be a 350 diesel expert. Now if I could just get mine back together. I am taking my time with mine and going over everything on it. It was in good shape to start with, but started using oil and developed a bad injector. When I get done with it, it will look new again.

George: Diana is a very capable lady. She came here shortly after she got the 350, probably close to 3 years now, and it's always been a pleasure to discuss that 350 with her. She has good grasp on how old codgers like you and I talk about tractors.

I was glad when you came along, as that diesel was Greek to me.

Hugh, I think that she thinks my patience was wearing thin with her, but it was quite the opposite. I see from her post tonight that she is in better spirits with it now. I am really glad to see a lady taking interest in these old relics. I can't even get my boys to show any interest in them. I tried to give them one a piece and they said they didn't want them. If I don't sell them some day, I will give them to someone who appreciates old red tractors.
