shibaura s773 engine replacement

Reaching out to see if anybody has ran into this got a new Holland TZ25da with a shibaura s773 engine. These were used 2005 to 2008. There's no replacement engines available through New Holland I'm not able to find a used one. wondering if anybody has replace this Engine with something else. The smaller amount of research that I've done it looks like a Perkins is almost identical and shares similar Parts but not confirmed 100% yet

Did yers shallow an injector? They were known for that.

I'm not sure what is actually went wrong with it this is a tractor that I was considering getting from a friend of a friend I have 30 some years of diesel experience but it's all on big trucks stuff

If you can, post some pics of both sides of the motor and the serial number. I might have one in a toro lawnmower. But will need to use the cylinder head from your tractor, was cannibalised for parts.

You also might try a N844 out of a new holland LX565 skid loader. That's a 4 cylinder but it's really short.... I don't know how many bell housing versions Shibaura had .

But my gut feeling is you're putting more effort into this tractor than is warranted. New Holland parts and service and, more recently, discontinued parts have become a headache.

Even if you get it free you're going to have a pile in it. Go find one that runs if you're really fond of that tractor. All the whining aside they are nice little tractors when they're running.

You're not wrong at what you're saying but this day and age things have changed. It's not free. The tractor has 800 hours on. it has a belly mower a lift bucket and a snow blower. It's been stored inside. I don't know what the sales are like around you but an equivalent tractor with that kind of hours and attachments they're asking close to $20,000 that's a lot of room to take some time and look in to see if I can swap an engine in it.

Fritz I am interested in your motor if you still have it. I have a case dx25e that uses the same motor I think. I need a block for a s773.
