So, I have a 1950 model b which I've torn completly down. Transmission seems to have model 50 shifters in it. These are interchangeable with "b" shifters? Or do I need to find the proper ones for my b?

B what. A/C or Farmall or John Deere??

Old, it might be pretty obvious that it is a B john Deere as AC and IH did not build a B in 1950 but Deere did and the 50 replaced the B. Hunker down as the ice and snow are on the way. Expecting it to start here on the South East Coast of Mo just after midnight.

According to the parts diagrams, B's after 201000 are the same as the 50.

Single stick would be the same the change occurred in 1947 so 5 or 6 years worth of bs and all 50s I believe will be the same

Interchangeable,JD50 to JD B. Shifters from the JD 50 have all the up dates; as shifter locks
