Shipper backed out

So, I had a shipper lined up to transport my 10-20 from Minnesota to Virginia. He was not the best at all in the communication area. Now he waits till the last moment to tell me that he is not interested. This job had been agreed on since January. Made up some BS story that I had found someone else at a cheaper price. Well, if I did, I wish I knew who it was. I hate a liar. I would have had respect for him if he had just told mew that he was not interested.
His first name is Dale. Out of what little respect I have for him, I will not post his last name.

You did not read or do bot care about the posting rules. !! Your lack of respect for the forum owners suggest you are no better than anyone you might criticize!!

You sound a little guilt. But anyway. It is a discussion about tractors and the trials and tribulations that go along with them.
Sorry that you feel guilty about something.
If you are talking about:
"No political comments, hate speech or bigotry of any kind will be tolerated. Violations will be removed and posting privileges may be permanently revoked without notice"
I have followed those rules exactly.

Please do have a nice night.

that is not the point! good he informed us of his disaster. I also have had the same thing happen here in the for sale adds! guy agree's to mail the item then he don't answer anymore an leaves a person hanging. he did not criticize he gave the facts, and that's good.

Contact Valley trans in Grand meadow MN they will Git er Done for you . May not be cheap but will get done and be done timely. Might even be able to put it on with one my brother bought in MN.

this is what you get when you only have cnn to watch. to the original post this society we live in today is that your word is no longer valid especially with the younger generation. I cant tell you how many times some one has called, said they would be here and never showed up. with the internet and declining family values its sad to see whats going on in our society today.

I realize all know, what you are referring to as the shipper. Though technically and more properly the transport party is a carrier. The shipper is the person you bought it from. And you would be the receiver or consignee.
Not trying to nitpick here just perhaps clarify for future knowledge. For unfamiliar parties this would help them to understand the relationship of each in a situation.

Well. A 3200 mile round trip and it is home. Now to learn everything that I can about it. Especially the starting procedure. Step by step. Wish me luck.

the Cat Guy is 100% correct. Although its an honest and easy mistake it could upset the seller
